I'm completely stumped by the decision to release several new rule books (KGN, AoA2 and Richthofen) so close to shutting down and then stopping sales completely. Some friends and I were just going to start up WAB again and I was going to order AoA2. I do have to admit that I am a little bitter that I bothered buying WAB2 at this point. Looking into switching completely over to War & Conquest or Clash of Empires, both of which have been repeatedly reviewed with comments like 'what WAB2 should have been' and 'WAB3.' Too bad, really. Hope to find a (illegal?) pdf one day.

As well as for the suplement Age of Arthur. Heard many good things about that game. I've only played Age of Chivalry and some general Roman vs Barbarian games to try the system. Want to try Great War/Over the Top this summer.

Too bad all the nice suplements they were working on won't come through. I just think there were too many different era's covered for such a small (?) company. They should have chosen to just continue the Warhammer Ancient Battles system and abandone the rest (Waterloo, Great War, Warmaster, Those stupid Alamo games no one plays.) in my honest opinion. Only liked Trafalgar a lot besides Ancient Battles. Maybe I'll like Great War too, the books look very shiny, as usual. Really sucks a company that delivers that much quality in publishing has now gone. Many thanks for the link to the forum!

How comes I didn't notice that one on my regular google searching, especially now I'm already 6 years into Warhammer Ancients.? Maybe one day. Hopfully someone will come back at this, I want to pay a couple of bucks for some of the books and planned future suplements.

But hopefully the community won't die. @towishimp: Idiot.

Historicals are so much better than fantasy. Imho it delivers much more depth into a game when you play with armies that in a way actually did exist! But I may be talking on the wrong forum now And when we look into the human race in Warhammer Fantasy we see that Bretonnia is a reincarnation of the historical Kingdoms of England and France and The Empire are just later European armies (like 16th century) mainly Holy Roman Empire. And when I ever go Fantasy I see myself end up playing Tolkien's Epos. @towishimp: Idiot.

Seriously this game is what got me back into gaming and was the only reason I didn't melt or otherwise get rid of my Empire models after my army was beaten by a single chaos model back in the days of 3rd edition. (Hero hammer) (and fantasy hasn't changed a whole hell of a lot since then balance wise) really I only play fantasy for the modeling and a chance to recruit players for historical.

Too bad well I guess I'll just head down to the sentry box to buy the last of the supplement books I need and keep them as precious as gold.
