I give it two thumbs up. ----------------------------------------------------- Desert Punk mini review (no spoilers) By: On: Dec 13 2008 ----------------------------------------------------- This anime has everything going for it in the first half humor (in the form of the hero of the tale Desert Punk hitting on the ladies, but of course there are other awesome tidbits of humor as well), excellent characters, and just a fun nature overall. In this section it is great and I commend it for distinguishing itself as its own entity. Eventually though all great things must come to an end and this series around episode 16, if I can remember correctly, takes a turn for the worst and throws the turtle on its back.

Once you start watching you may be disappointed with the final few, but it is all worth it thanks to the excellent humor at the start. Before I forget to mention what Desert Punk is all about (because it wouldn’t be much of a mini review without a brief summery) it is about a desert bounty hunter on his search for the ultimate prize the almighty dollar (but of course his antics tend to get him into more debt than anything).

Overall, I give this anime a 6/10.
