I use quality cables and leave the rest to the NOISEGATE on the ZOOM 2020 and the LOW signal/noise ratio of the CRATE. Me to no end. The CRATE GXT-100.

I used only Harmony guitars. A 1992 model of a Stratocastor (better sustain and action than a real one and 2 others agree with me, that was a great day for making guitars!) and a 1994 cutaway jumbo flattop, the best miked acoustic I ever heard. I sold my 1971 SG to a starving artist.

I never did like its action but I sure loved that Humbucker. But I can get ANY SOUND at the touch of a button. My floor pedal is the (discontinued,WHY?) ZOOM 2020.

Its the best. The Chorus effect is ICE ICE ICE.

One setting I call my Robin Trower. Uh.nuff said.I use my JIMI HENDRIX CRY BABY wah-wah for tone,placing the pedal at a position and leave it there for the session. THE CRATE GTX-100 MAKES THE CAKE COMPLETE.

THE DISTORTION IS RIPPING WITH LITTLE FEEDBACK WHEN USING THE OPTIONS (via little black buttons beside the Volume/tone pots.) WITH EVERTHING ON, THERE IS AMAZINGLY LITTLE BACKGROUND NOISE and I have got the smallest studio in the world with virtually NO SHIELDING in place. My studio is only 12X14 (split into a 'dead' spot for the bass and a plywood box (sort of ) for the Kit and I use the Bathroom for the guitars and use miking techniques to in/decrease the 'shimmer' off the walls. I took lessons from the best slide man in Tucson, Dane Tallis. He taught me 'the Hawaiian Rag' by Don Ho to 'One of These Days' by Pink Floyd. In the last mentioned tune I heard something buried in what others called noise. The bands My Bloody Valentine and of course Sonic Youth are the best of the field. I am 44 years old but I will be releasing a monster and it will be quite beyond what is out there now.

A business acquaintance said that my stuff (I have 3 polished masterpieces) is so different that it reminded him how he felt when he heard 'Sugar', Bob Moulds band, a former Husker Du member. That pleases me to no end. The CRATE GXT-100(dual triode) with the Celestrian 12' 80 watt 'Silver Series' speaker (has the Celestrian Emblem on the face of the amp) still has the foot switch. Bought it used at a consignment shop for $291 (tax&all)(there is a price sticker from EDUCATOR'S MUSIC of Cape Coral,Florida for $600 on the back in 2 places), the only thing wrong was the 'reverb' pot dial on the back of the amp(open back design) was gone and had been replaced with a Stratocaster tone dial. The case has not one scratch or dent. I have been blessed.
